The Centre for Nanotechnology & Advanced Biomaterials (CeNTAB) at SASTRA University is well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for characterization of structural, optical, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties of nanomaterials. These high-end equipment provide ample skill set and hands-on training to students aspiring for a career in nanotechnology. SASTRA is ranked among the best private Universities in India in terms of infrastructure and expertise.

 


CeNTAB has nine research laboratories to carry out cutting-edge research in the field of medical nanotechnology. These include facilities for SEM imaging, Polymer synthesis, Fluorescent imaging, Animal cell culture, instrumental analysis, nanomaterials synthesis, electrophysiology, nanofluids development, mesoporous material synthesis, thin film deposition and nanosensor evaluation.
