Mr. S. Janakiraman, Consultant, Microsoft Inc, delivered a lecture on Microsoft.NET platform and its feature. He emphasized the need for learning this emerging technology as future engineers will work on Microsoft platform to develop medium range software applications.

This lectures covered the basics of ASP.NET, CLR Architecture, C#, Writing programs for Palmtop, etc. He also explained the prospectus of Microsoft based jobs for future engineers.

He also demonstrated some of his work done using Microsoft.NET.
