Valedictory Function::

The valedictory function was held at 4.30p.m. on 28/10/2006 at Conference hall in TIFAC-CORE @ SASTRA. Prof. K. S. Ravichandran Professor - School of Computing welcomed the gathering. Mr. S. Saravanan, Lecturer - TIFAC-CORE summed up the proceedings of the seminar. Dr. K.S. Chari, Senior Director & Head, Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Lay-out Division & Registrar Ministry of Information Technology, New Delhi, proceedings of the seminar, and he also delivered the Valedictory address. Prof. K. Sridhar, Professor, School of Computing gave the vote of thanks.

Dr. K.S. Chari delivered the valedictory address by pointing RFID as another field in the Embedded market. He added in his speech that the students must be innovative and find some solutions for design obstacles in this technology. He assured the students that the government will support by all means for those who come out with perfect ideas and solutions.

The seminar was attended by 80 faculty members and students from various Engineering Colleges. In the field of Electronics and computing. Major participants were Research scholars. Few participants from semiconductor Industries also attended the seminar. The seminar was a success with a fruitful interaction of industry academia and Government representatives.
