Dear
Readers,
It
is my pleasure to bring out yet another newsletter of
TIFAC-CORE. This is the third year of TIFAC-CORE. We
are very happy that considerable progress has been
made in promoting the cause of this CORE. The academic
and research programmes launched in the thrust areas
of technology such as Embedded Systems and VLSI Design
and other educational and research collaboration
efforts have been successful in this mission’s
journey till date.
The
TIFAC meet at
New Delhi
in July 2003 told the success story of our TIFAC-CORE
which was well appreciated by TIFAC and the attendees.
My heart-felt appreciation to my colleagues for their
enthusiastic co-operation in making the operation of
this centre successful and their continued efforts to
achieve the mission of this centre. I take this
opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to TIFAC,
Department of Science & Technology,
New Delhi
, SASTRA management and the Chairman & other
members of REACH Monitoring Committee for their
constant encouragement, timely advice and support
provided to us.
