National Workshop on Embedded Systems

 09th May to 11th May 2005 - A Report

The valedictory function was held at 4.30p.m. on 11/5/2005 at Conference hall in TIFAC-CORE@SASTRA. Dr.K.S.Chari, Senior Director and Head Microelectronics Division, Ministry of Information Technology, New Delhi gave the valedictory address.  In his valedictory address he talked on Embedded Systems and its scope. Prof.S.Sesadhri, Registrar In-Charge presided over the function. Prof.K.Ushadevi, coordinator/TIFAC-CORE summed up the proceedings of the workshop. Prof.S.Sesadhri released the CD which covers the proceedings of the workshop. The first copy was presented to Dr Chari.  and Ms.S.Karpagaselvi Lecturer/TIFAC-CORE gave the vote of thanks.

 The workshop was attended by  108 faculty and students  from all over the country. In the field of Electronics and computing.  Major participants were Research scholars.  In total  13 Industry delegates    participated in the workshop.  The workshop was a success with  a fruitful interaction of industry academia and Government representatives.
