A national conference on trends in healthcare and health care products, It has been our long standing vision to conduct a national symposium being one of the premier institutes in biotechnology in the country. And this year we hope to realize the same. This being a new venture, work is being done to organize the event on a large scale to the best of our ability. Ever since man walked on earth, he has always thought about his health and its importance. The advancements in this sector are growing at a fast pace and so are its opportunities. Thus, the national conference would be conducted on a span of two days on TRENDS IN HEALTHCARE AND HEALTHCARE PRODUCTS. IGNYT as the name indicates is focused on igniting the spark within us. ABOUT BIOTIKOS
Biotikos is the Students Association of Biotechnology at SASTRA University. It is an offbeat group of highly motivated students with more than 600 members. We started small but our impact is ever lasting because our initiatives taken were bold and anchored in strong values and sheer consistency. Biotikos serves as a platform for the students for mutual sharing of ideas and their proper implementation.

ABOUT SCBT
Since inception, School of Chemical and Biotechnology has shown its progress and it came out with flying colors, when BioSpectrum announced SCBT of SASTRA as the leading Private BT School in the country. The school is having exclusive Bio-safety facilities for tutoring Bio-technology, Bio-engineering, Computational Biology and Nano Biotechnology. It has several ongoing research projects actively involving both faculty as well as students. Several bright minds work diligently and patiently towards a common goal of greater good that can be achieved through research, as suggested by Dr.Kalam , during his visit to our college.
