ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

A Computer is an electronic device that stores and processes data according to a list of instructions. It allows user to manipulate data easily. The speed of performance of a computer is incomparable. The computer and Internet have affected our way of working, communicating, playing and also writing. In fact, computers are used in every aspect of life today. Among several advantages of computers access to the Internet is hailed to be an advantage that has shaped the way we communicate.

Microsoft Office, also known as MS Office, is a popular software suite featuring many desktop publishing programs. It comes with everything that may come into use in a classic office setting, which enables paperless office in almost every sector. Microsoft word is the most commonly used word processor and has become the industry standard. Ms-Excel helps to manipulate numerical data with formulas and built-in functions. MS-PowerPoint provides anyone with the need to present information creatively and professionally with the ability to develop presentations quickly, easily and effectively. This two-day workshop on “Office Automation tools” is an excellent platform for learners to learn

Participants will be exposed to unique professional learning and on-hand experience that will provide them and their organization with skills and knowledge to create and support innovative e-administration.

Day 1:        Basics of computers, MS-Word, MS-Excel, Hands-on-sessions

Day 2:        MS-PowerPoint, Internet Basics, Hands-on-sessions

There is NO Registration Fee for this Faculty Development Programme. Duly Filled Application should reach us on or before 12th December 2011 along with College / University
