SASTRA Law School Students Runner Up in Prestigious 7th  K.R.RAMAMANI MEMORIAL TAXATION MOOT COURT COMPETITION

 

SASTRA Law School team consisting of Chi. S.Ganesh Aravindh, Kum. Shobhana Krishnan of VIII Sem B.Com., LL. B. (Hons.)  and Kum. Varsha Balasubramanian of VI Sem B.Com., LL. B. (Hons.) emerged as the Runner-up 7th  K.R.RAMAMANI MEMORIAL TAXATION MOOT COURT COMPETITION organized by the School of Excellence, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University in association with S.A.P.R. Advocates. They competed against ILS Pune in the final of the Competition. The team argued in the finals before an erudite panel of Judges presided by Former Additional Advocate General, Tamil Nadu, Shri Aravindh Pandiyan, Shri Rajib Kumar Hota, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Chennai and Former Vice-President, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Shri N. Bharathvaja Sankar. The competition took place between 17th-19th March, 2017. Ten teams from colleges all over India participated in this event.
