MOU WITH UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS |
SASTRA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Arkansas (UA), Fayetteville, U.S.A on 17th June 2005 for mutual cooperation. The MoU was signed by Prof. R. Sethuraman, Vice-Chancellor, SASTRA and Prof. John A. White, Chancellor, University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
The agreement will allow for taking up programs for exchanging academic, research and other educational materials in addition to exchange of students and faculty between the two institutions.
SASTRA and UA will exchange their respective faculty members and
administrators to be in residence at the other institution for
purposes of lecturing, conducting research, and developing their
academic or administrative skills. Both institutions pledged to
provide the fullest support possible to students, faculty and
administrators coming from the other institution in the furtherance of
the interests of each student, faculty member or administrator.
