‘SIRO’ Status for SASTRA

SASTRA has been recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India. The Department has accorded the SIRO status to SASTRA after assessing the research work carried out by SASTRA and the publications by the faculty. Currently SASTRA is engaged in research for various agencies like AYUSH, CMRI, CSIR, DBT, DRDL, DRDO, DST, ICMR, ISRO, etc..
