The School engages in outreach activities instilling a sense of social consciousness among the learners.
About Biotikos
BIOTIKOS, The Biotechnology Students’ Association was established in the year 2008-09. Formed by some of the earliest inquisitive minds of SASTRA, the BIOTIKOS remains the most active student association in the University, igniting and passing on the passion and zeal onto every successive batch of students. Born as an association, exclusively for the students of the School of Chemical and Biotechnology, BIOTIKOS has expanded to welcome inputs from various external institutions. Laying a platform for students to display their knowledge and innovations, it has played an integral role in giving them exposure in various subfields of Biotechnology.Â
