Eligibility for Admission

Candidates for admission to the first semester of B.C.A. / B.B.A.(Logistics) / B.Com. should have passed the Higher Secondary Course (+2) in the academic stream (with Mathematics/Statistics) conducted by an approved Board or any other competent Agency accepted by the Board of Management of SASTRA as equivalent thereto.

Candidates for admission to the first M.B.A / M.C.A (Online) should have passed the under graduate degree from a recognized university in 10+2+3 pattern with Mathematics as a subject of study in +2 or in under graduate level or an Examination of any other competent Agency accepted by the Board of Management.

They must also satisfy the conditions regarding the minimum marks, age and physical fitness as prescribed by the Board of Management of SASTRA from time to time.

Selection procedure

Selection to B.C.A.(Online Mode - Semester Pattern) / B.B.A.(Logistics)(Online Mode - Semester Pattern) / B.Com. (Online Mode - Semester Pattern) / M.B.A (Online Mode – Semester Pattern) / M.C.A (Online Mode – Semester Pattern) programme in SASTRA will be done transparently based on merit.

Duration of the Programme

The Undergraduate Degree Programme leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business Administration will cover a period of 6 semesters (3 academic years).

The Postgraduate Degree Programme leading to the Degree of Master of Business Applications, Master of Computer Applications will cover a period of 4 semesters (2 academic years).

Medium of instruction - Online

The medium of instruction for B.C.A. / B.B.A.(Logistics) / B.Com. / M.B.A / M.C.A Programme will be in English.
