XXVI Convocation | 2nd Sept 2012
Dear Graduand,
We are happy to inform you that the XXVI Convocation of our University will be held at 4:15p.m. on September 2, 2012 at SASTRA Campus, Thanjavur.
You will have the good opportunity in your academic life to receive your degree from a distinguished corporate leader. Shri. R.Seshasayee, Executive Vice-Chairman, Ashok Leyland, has kindly consented to deliver the Convocation Address.
Students of the 2012 batch with a first-class with distinction classification will receive the degree during the convocation and the rest can receive the degree certificates from the Office of Registrar after September 2, 2012. Kindly visit www.sastra.edu for more details.
Please note that only registered candidates will be allowed to participate. The online registration will resume on August 6, 2012, and will close at 5:00p.m. on August 25, 2012. No extension in time is possible. After registration, you are advised to visit the website on August 31, 2012 and get familiarized with the convocation procedure. You should be prepared to stay till 7:30p.m. on September 2, 2012.
