RESEARCH CENTRES
SASTRA has established 22 inter-disciplinary research and innovation centres to promote
cross-fertilization of ideas for basic & applied research and potential translations based on
the human capital and expertise available.
The objective of creating these Centres is to foster the spirit of collaboration among faculty
and students across the University. The Centres engage in basic, applied and translational
research with global standards across various domains of science, technology and society.
Some of the research centres have received funding from various government and non-
government agencies. The findings, publications and patents filed have enhanced national
collaborations, international partnerships and industry connects.
