Project Title	Development of a mechanoenzymatic approach for improved production of chito-oligosaccharides from recalcitrant chitin waste
Funding Agency	Department of Biotechnology (DBT)
Duration of the Project	Three Years (2024-2027)
Position	Project Associate
Fellowship	As per ICAR norms Rs.31,000/- pm as per the guidelines. Otherwise as per the norms of university.
Number of vacancies	One
Essential qualification	Master’s degree in either Computer Science or Data Science or Bioinformatics or Big Data Biology or Biotechnology or Computational Biology with 55% marks.
Desirable	Computational experience is preferred with Python/C++/Java programming and/or machine learning and/or next-generation sequencing analysis. CSIR-NET / GATE qualified candidate will be given preference.
Age limit	35 years (Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically challenged candidates)
